I just can't help but notice that blasphemy means insulting or showing contempt or lack of reverence. I just can't help but notice that this can be done long before a person dies. I can't help but notice that a person who had blasphemied the Holy Ghost might later feel differently and want to be forgiven. The text seems to indicate that you'd be shit out of luck.
"Worthless, piece of shit Holy Ghost. You're nothin' but a two faced lieing dung wipe, spawn from the worthless, stinkin' dung of a buzzard"
Just a little curious here. |

Good for you. Using statistics to beat the odds is a clever skill. But it says nothing whatsoever about an innate power in numbers. The numbers are used to represent probability they are not, in themselves, probability. They aren't telling you what will happen, they are telling you what has happened, and uniformitarianism is telling you that what has happened will continue to happen. The numbers just describe events. It's the events that mean something, not the way we choose to organise and describe them. |

The only sin that cannot be forgiven is to blaspheme against the Holy Spirit, which means, to dismiss His holy inspiration to turn away from sin and disbelief. This opportunity you have until the very last gasp of air you breathe on your deathbed. Every moment that goes by is a moment closer to that last moment, and it will either be a terrible and frightenning moment, or joyous and loving moment. This is precisely why I don't bother with you and why don't I see much support for your posts even among the other atheists here. Whatever you think of it, Gabriel intended that message to be private. Are you so fucking obtuse and self-absorbed that you have no sense of propriety? Why am I asking that question? The answer is obvious.
You’re nothing but a scrawny, self-aggrandizing, caustic-mouthed little shit who has intelligence but lacks the ability to use it wisely. You accuse me of having no balls? You’re a ball-less wonder little man! Do you really think your thoughts are original? Your arguments are so trite and tired that they’re laughable. I’ve been debating online for a decade so I started when you were…about 8 years old? I’ve seen every one of your “dazzling one liners” so many times that all I can do is yawn. They have already been presented ad nauseum and in a much better fashion than your weak attempts.
You’re a jackass. Grow up. |

I don't know. I seem to recall my name being referenced a few times when Gabriel tried to evade things.
The Bible says THREE times for those hard of understanding that those who blaspheme the Holy Spirit are hellbound automatically. Jesus even makes the point that you can curse him, but not the Holy Spirit. The idea that this only applies to people on their death beds is fucking ridiculous: that's making shit up, no other way about it. Allegory, metaphors, and hat tricks cannot reinterpret the abundantly clear passages.

Gabriel doesn't even try to answer anything unless her face is slammed into it and even then evasion of a direct answer is most likely. All we get is this poetic bullshit that's 100% baseless assertions. Has she answered anything? I mean really, ANYTHING? Please, out of the 200 posts, point to ANY single post that answers anything.
I thought I'd share with the group the results. There was nothing inherently personal about it, for example it wasn't like the time you asked me what kind of cream to use for your unsightly groin rash.

So could you answer why I should worship a god who likes to inflict genocide on innocent people? Could you finally answer why your kind of deistic version of god (or whatever you believe in since you haven't answered that either making you even more evasive than Gabriel) is of any consequence? When somebody asks you that, you usually throw a tantrum declaring that you don't give a damn.
The reason we atheists keep asking unoriginal questions is because we've never been answered. I don't think it's my fault Robert Ingersoll's tracts are just as applicable today as they were a century ago. That's sad in a way. Not for me but for you.

I generally like insulting humor. It shouldn't be taken personally but I'm sure the numbers 1 and 666 have already informed you of this.
Also, in the interest of conserving space, next time don't forget:

demonX, after reading that diatribe from Aaslan could not possibly really believed the lion asked you for advice on a groin rash. The idea is so funny, I am falling off my chair, if he can't work out it's a joke, what hope has the world?

Demon, how old are you? If you cannot spot a gag as big as an elephant, how can you have any hope of deciphering scripture, or any other writing?
You will be limited to repeating what you have been told.
Maybe that's what you are doing. |

But he's funny with it, so it's forgivable, almost endearing really. He's like a young cat that bites: more entertaining than some soppy old fellow, but not really trying to do any serious harm. |

You guys are seriously grasping at straws. Do you really think the bible was meant to be taken literally. There are two separate creation stories one after the other if you just read the first couple of pages. No serious attempt was made by the compilators to avoid any apparent contradictions.
The bible is a record of how one particular civilisation came to understand god over a period of a few thousand years. Surely anyone whether athiest, agnostic or christian would find that it was an important philisophical document if nothing else and find some truth in its writings.
Are you afraid of what Gabrielle writes because it is so breathtakingly true? |

We take it jokingly. Is any part of it supposed to be read literally? How do you know?

Yes, and God murders innocent people all the time. As I said, it's a joke.

The underlying message of the Bible is: worship me or I'm going to kill you. I find more value in Mein Kampf.

| Why assume there is any truth to be found in the Bible when we can see transparent myth, lies and distortions? As far as I can tell the only value of the Bible is as a source of quotations and phrases, a tiny fraction of the total, which have some wisdom in that they express fairly common and widespread philosophical concepts in a familiar form. Considering the Bible's size and ubiquity there is surprisingly little of any merit in it. |

How did you get from point A to B on that post? The first bit makes perfect sense and is roughly how I would describe the bible, i.e., a record of how a particular civilization came to understand their world. I think it is an important philosophical document, as well as an important document in understanding political manipulation. And of course an important historical document.
However, to assert that it is "true," breathtakingly or not, is entirely different, as if you think there actually is a God and he actually did interact with the people of the bible. Gabrial thinks this. If you think so too, please list which miracles in the bible you think really were literal since you have pointed out some that were not. |

As there was nothing personal about the message, it wasn't a personal message. People who think Bogeyman is watching their every move need privacy? Whhaawhaawhaat? |

The original message I sent her was copy-and-paste from the forum.
Is there a reason why someone who says "Please do not ask me questions anymore. I will pray for you" is still on a debate forum? |

Indeed. Now I'm getting proselytising PMs from Gab' that also say "don't respond, I won't read what you write back". As Owl said the other day, spammer for Jesus, nothing more. |
