You know what Gaby? ALL OF US here have spoken against the Holy Spirit which the New Testament says is the only UNFORGIVABLE sin. We're past redemption even if we believed your bullshit, so why are you bothering with us? BY YOUR OWN RULES, we're destined for hell, NO MATTER WHAT.
"Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come." - Matthew 12:31-32
"But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation." - Mark 3:29
"But unto him that blasphemeth against the Holy Ghost it shall not be forgiven." - Luke 12:10 |

andkon,
The only sin that cannot be forgive is the sin against the Holy Spirit: This is the sin of final impenitence. God's mercy is greater than any sin, but when a dying man arefuses to seek God's mercy and forgiveness, that person will die in his or her sin, and stay in it for eternity. That is the Sin against the holy Spirit. God inspires us but we must respond to His grace. As the saying goes..."the road to hell is paved with good intentions", therefore if today you hear His voice, harden not your heart.

Theology never ceases to be amusing. The bending and the twisting to get things to mean what you think they should mean is always entertaining. |

No, there's no conditions in either of the three verses. Very simple: all of us atheists who have blasphemed against the Holy Spirit are hellbound. No and, ifs, or buts. So why are you wasting your time with us? |

Gabriel,
Answer Andkon’s question, please. You just ramble on.
Andkon,
I guess you have cornered Gabriel very badly. Really, there is nothing left for Gabriel to discuss, I guess.
Damn Holy Spirit!
Gabriel,
I hope you are not going to leave us now.
Andkon,
Leave Gabriel alone.
Holy Spirit,
Leave Gabriel alone!

Colyn,
There is a law that governs all living things: In order to live, they must eat. Christian Theology teaches that God created human beings with both a body and a spirit. There is nothing on earth that can completely satisfy this soul-hunger of man. Only God, the source of all life, harmony and love can satisfy the hunger of an eternal soul. That is why it is a terrible tragedy to close one's self to God. be open to Him.. Be sincere and humble and He will come to you in the silence of your heart. You'll never know Him if you don't let Him in your life.

She doesn't quote because there's nothing on her side. In THREE out of FOUR gospels, it's clearer than day that if we curse the Invisible Woman of the Yahweh League (there I go again), we go to Hell no matter what. It's unforgivable, period. To try to insert "Oh yeah, that applies to dying people" is just absurd. Contextually, it makes no sense. Logically, it makes no sense. Why would Jesus say, "Gee, you can make fun of me when you're dying, but leave H to the Spirit out of it"? |

Okay, we'll even if we felt that way, that would mean that we'd have to ignore three verses of the Bible. Are there any more that we should ignore or completely redefine? |

| God's mercy is infinite, but to reject the inspirations of the Holy Spirit is to sin against Him: The sin is not allowing The Holy Spirit to be in your life--to close yourself to Him. God is seeking your attention. That's why sometimes He allows suffering to occur in your life, to make you turn away from the road to eternal disaster and to turn to Him, the source of all harmony and happiness. |

Is that why he sent the tsunami to SEAsia, so they would correct their ways and convert to christanity?
Bit drastic wasn't it?
I mean, that is why suffering is allowed bby god, to convert us, if we don't take the carrot we get the schtick? |

Let me think. The answer is no. Could God seek my attention is less painful ways? Like if I want to talk someone, I don't firebomb their house. I give them a phone call. For example, if I break my arm but I don't respond to God, does he then proceed to break my other arm? Sounds like the Spanish Inquisition.
Do you understand the concept of an unforgivable sin or is the Bible just wrong on this? |

As they say, "there are no atheists in fox holes".
When death arrives judgment is swift. A soul's eternal lot will reflect the state it is in when it was united to the body in time. If one is living a Godless and wicked life but repents and turns to God in the midst of a calamity, the calamity is the best thing that could have ever happened to that soul, if it means the soul cries out to God before the moment of death. |

How fucking stupid is that? Do you realize WHO is in fox holes? Soldiers. Soldiers, while they have a reputation for raping women and terrorizing populations, do occasionally fight other soldiers who are also located in foxholes. Which means each side is asking God. Whose prayer does God answer?
Did you know the each Nazi soldier had a belt buckle with the inscription God with us?

Book, chapter, and verse number? As usual, this is extra-biblical babble. Could you please reserve your fantasy pronouncments to at least a book we all have available?

So is the Bible wrong when it says cursing the Holy Spirit is an unforgivable sin? |

| Haha. To make myself clear, let me correct myself: So is the Bible wrong three times in three different Gospels when it says cursing the Holy Spirit is an unforgivable sin? |
