The Right Honourable Stephen Harper:

In your closing statement in your election victory speech, you said, “God bless Canada.” But what if God does not exist? In this case, who is going to bless Canada?

To me, it is a great risk for the Canadians to rely on a Prime Minister who relies on the blessing of God in which there is no proof of His, Her, or Its existence?

I have had a hard time sleeping since I heard your closing statement in your election victory speech.

As an atheist, I am not able to convince myself that the future of the greatest country in the world can be be determined by a nonexistent entity called God.

Is there anything that the Right Honourable can say to assure me of the future of my country that I love with my entire existence? After all, Canada is the only country left for me in this unpredictable world.

Many thanks!

With lots of love for Canada,

Farzad Roohi
