Federal agents in local arrest

Federal agents from Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms (BATF) took Michael E. Rippie into custody at his home on Hopsage court on Jan .23. The agents were acting on a federal felony arrest warrant. The charges were fictitious statement given in connection with acquisition of firearm, unlawful possession of firearm by a felon and fictitious statement given in connection with application for a federal firearms dealer license. ( All Charges Later dismissed as unfounded ) The indictment was issued last September for actions that took place .’on Oct. 5,1994. At approximately 9 a.m., two agents from Nevada division of investigations (NDI), along with two agents from BATF contacted the Tonopah office of the Nye county Sheriff’s office and requested assistance with service of the warrant since it was thought that Rippie might once again be armed. (Rippie says no might about it, I am always armed…but that is not against the law.) Members of the sheriffs tactical team (START) and one street deputy accompanied the state and federal agents to Rippie residence. Rippie is reported to have opened the door, seen police, and then slammed the door closed, (Because Rippie had no cloths on ) Officers then kicked the door twice and notified him that they had a false arrest warrant. ( as the law requires) He opened the door and was placed under false arrest by the federal agents. ( Hand cuffed, But naked, standing in the front door.) On entering, the agents found a loaded 357 magnum revolver laying next to the entrance door in easy reach. Rippie was transported to the Tonopah detention facility and held for the agents until they could obtain a search warrant for the residence.(( They searched before they had a search warrant)) When the warrant was obtained and a search conducted, additional weapons were found. Rippie was transported to Las Vegas to appear before the federal Judge and After a custody hearing this dangerous criminal, was released by a Las Vegas magistrate on his own recognizance, with conditions that he stop investigating cops. On release, he was arrested again based on two new state charges for the weapons found during the Jan. 23 search. ( It should be known that Rippie holds a federal fire arms license and was free to buy and sell all the Guns he wanted, Even while under indictment. That is the way the law reads. So once again he was placed under a false arrest, in violation of his rights.) He was transported to Tonopah and held in custody until bail of $10,500 was posted. Bail for state offenses is determined by a preset schedule. When contacted for comment, sheriff Wade Lieseke pointed out that the arrest was made from a federal warrant issued several months ago and this office was involved only at the request of the state and federal agents. ( Yet Lieseke was herd to yell into his radio, I want that bitch Trish Rippie arrested. ) Kenneth Townsend, criminal investigator with the homicide and major crimes department of the Nevada division of investigations, (now fired for some of his own criminal actions.) said that the arrest had absolutely nothing to do with local law enforcement. ( It should be known that Rippie busted Nevada division of investigation in Reno . Where they kidnapped his 3 year old daughter and told Rippie he would testify against a judge. Rippie was to say he bought drugs from this judge even though he had never met the man. If he did not he was told he would never see his daughter again. That is the kind of people working for NDI. Would they lie again for Lieseke…) Is a pigs ass pork?

. ‘ Rippie’s actions in 1994 were originally investigated under state jurisdiction, but became a federal matter because the State could not convict him of any crime. Then Lieseke alleged Rippie lied on federal firearms dealers license. Lieseke knew this was not true but called BATF anyway. ( During a forced interview, (against Rippie’s Will) With NDI present and doing the questioning, one NDI officer again told Rippie to stop Investigating Cops.) Rippie, is known locally for his campaign against law enforcement, alleging misconduct and violations of his rights when weapons were seized in a prior incident. The cops did steal a lot of guns from him and they will not be returned. Know one seams to know where they went to. Rippie says, Will the fence, they sold the guns to, pleses return the stolen property.
